The Lima to Cape Horn 2022 rally traced the full vertical span of South America, starting in Lima, Peru, and ending at the southern tip of the continent near Cape Horn. The route crossed Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina, including high-altitude plains, deserts and windswept steppe.
Technically, the rally demanded flexible suspension, reliable braking, and cooling systems capable of adapting to temperature ranges from sub-zero to over 40 °C. The diversity of surfaces – gravel, dust, sand, and aged asphalt – made this one of the most demanding endurance routes in the world.
