Peking to Paris 2025

The Peking to Paris Motor Challenge 2025 is one of the most iconic and demanding long-distance rallies in the world. Following the historic 1907 route, it covers over 13,000 km from Beijing through Mongolia, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe to Paris, in roughly 35 days.

The most challenging sections are in Mongolia, where roads are non-existent and navigation is based on compass bearings and landmarks. Vehicles must be fully autonomous, withstanding sand, gravel, mud, water crossings, and deteriorated tarmac for days without support.

Temperatures range from near-freezing mornings to 45 °C midday heat, with constant vibration, dust, and risk of mechanical failure. Technically, the rally is a comprehensive test of suspension, powertrain, cooling and chassis resilience.

Peking to Paris is considered the definitive endurance trial in the world of historic rallying.
